Kim Ae-Young is an enthusiast of folk culture and is also an explorer of historical relics. Armed with her camera, she has not only visited the historical relics in Korea, but also crossed on land the Silk Road and Siberia. She is a traveling photographer who has taken photos of cultural relics around the world, from the Urubamba River in the Inca relic at the Andes to the Yellow River, Indus River, Euphrates River, Tigris River, up to the Niles River.
